Straight-Tongue Couplers

CURT standard couplers, featuring our Posi-Lock latch, are the most common type of trailer coupler. With a mounting channel designed to fit onto a 3” trailer frame beam, the Posi-Lock coupler is easy to install. It is made from hardy steel construction and has a durable zinc finish to protect from corrosion, wear and tear. The lockable latch mechanism on CURT Posi-Lock couplers is reliable and simple to operate. We carry standard trailer couplers with gross trailer weight capacities ranging from 2,000 to 5,000 lbs. and with ball diameters of 1 7/8” or 2”.
